Counseling

Alicia McDonald MS, LPCC-S
Alicia is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with the Counselor Social Worker, Marriage and Family Board for the state of Ohio. She has been working in the field of mental health for the last five years striving to provide culturally-sensitive, person-centered, and evidenced based treatment to her clients. Alicia has a background in community mental health, which has provided her with experience working with diverse populations of individuals and treating clients with a wide range of mental, behavioral, and emotional issues. Aligning closely with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, she works to help her clients increase their awareness of the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviors to guide them toward emotional balance and wellness.

Nora ODonnel MS, MA, LPCC
Nora graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University where she earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has passed both state and national examinations to become an independently Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio. Nora has a wide experience working with adolescents and their families in both an outpatient counseling setting and within a school community. Prior to her career as a clinical counselor, Ms. Nora ODonnell earned her bachelor’s degree in English Education (grades 7-12) from Miami University (OH) and began her work with adolescents—as a high school English teacher. She completed an AmeriCorp teaching program in Dayton, Ohio where she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Dayton with a master’s degree in Special Education and then went on to teach in Cleveland, Ohio and Washington, D.C.

At DRAGONFLY COUNSELING & WELLNESS, Nora is looking forward to working with clients to promote positive mental health and is excited about implementing innovative skills, introducing new perspectives, and teaching various strategies to empower clients to make positive changes in their lives.

David Stump MS, LPCC
David is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has been working in mental health for 4 years.  David received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Niagara University and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  David has experience working with a diverse population and various age groups in the community mental health and Private Practice fields, as well as experience working with those who have served in the military. He has a strong interest in relationships and couples counseling. His other areas of counseling and treatment include addictions, crisis intervention, anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma-based therapy, affirmative practice with LGBTQ clients and life transitions.

Yoga & Mindfulness

Gina McDowell, RYT200
Gina is a Registered Yoga Trainer with almost 10 years of teaching experience. She is passionate about utilizing both movement and breath work to re-establish the mind-body connection, aiding in stress-management, anxiety reduction, and overall wellbeing. Gina further focuses on creating a class environment that is accessible and comfortable for yogis of all levels.



Stephanie Mielke, RYT200
Stephanie took her first yoga class in 2015, and began practicing Vinyasa regularly ever since. She quickly learned that the mental and emotional benefits of yoga took precedence over the physical practice. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga on High in Vinyasa. As a yoga teacher, Stephanie hopes to inspire students to take mindfulness, unconditional positive regard, and self-love off the mat. Stephanie has experience teaching mindfulness based series at a local hospital.

Massage Therapy

Jennifer Pierce, LMT 
Jennifer has been practicing Massage Therapy for 14 years. With a back ground in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine, her specialties lie in Deep Tissue, Sports, and Therapeutic Massage Therapy. She has certifications in Pregnancy Massage, Myofascial Release and Neuromuscular Therapy.  Licensed in Ohio since 2008, Jennifer has worked with various levels of clientele through the years from professional athletes to the elderly. Her goals are to find the root of what is causing your pain and effectively use her skills to decrease that pain and increase your ability to live your best life. Your health, wellness, and comfort are her number one priority.

Acupuncture

Dave Coyne, LAc
Dave has been a licensed acupuncturist by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and the Ohio Medical Board for over 8 years. Dave began his journey into the healing arts at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA; he subsequently relocated to the Midwest to obtain his Masters of Acupuncture Diploma at the American Institute of Alternative Medicine here in Columbus Ohio.

Dave provides an interdisciplinary approach to acupuncture treatments by offering needless acupressure point therapy, cupping, and electrical stimulation with needles. Treatments are all catered to the individual depending on their physical and emotional needs as well as being based on tongue and pulse diagnosis. Dave has a wide range of clinical experience having treated common health issues such as stress, anxiety, fatigue, and skin disorders, as well as any kind of back, knee, or general limb pain. No matter what the issue, Dave always strives to find the most effective path towards restoring health and wellbeing.

Staff

Francesca Festa MA, LPCC – Director of Clinical & Wellness Services
Francesca received a Master in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Florence (Italy) and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Ohio State University. Over the past 8 years, she has been practicing in a variety of settings working with different age groups, mental health conditions, and ethnicities.

Her diverse professional training helped her develop a culturally-sensitive and strength-based approach to wellness and mental health that highly informs her work with her clients. She believes in the collaborative nature of the counseling relationship and she strives to adapt her sessions to the unique needs and characteristics of each individual. To support her client’s journey toward healing and growth, Francesca utilizes a wide range of techniques drawing from different theoretical approaches. She is also trained in EMDR, an approach especially used in the treatment of trauma.

As Director of Clinical and Wellness Services her goal is to contribute to offering high-quality, innovative services to center’s clients and the community.

Noel Bartholdi – Director of Wellness & Outreach
Noel attended the University of California, Riverside to study medicine and quickly discovered a passion for nutritional science, exercise physiology, and psychology. Noel is a Nutrition Coach, athlete, yoga teacher, author, public health advocate, and mom of four.

Through a combination of her studies, and her personal experience in the world, Noel has gained a keen appreciation for the benefits that complementary services bring to an individual‘s life. She has been active in the community by promoting wellness through public speaking engagements in addition to her work with small groups and private clients. As Director of Wellness and Outreach, her mission is to promote awareness about the health benefits of complementary approaches to wellness and to help others reach their greatest potential, uncover their best health, and experience the joy of wellness.
