Emergency Situations
Telehealth services are not intended for crisis or emergency situations.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, thoughts of self-harm, thoughts of harming others, or any medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

- Maintaining adequate internet connectivity and technology access
- Protecting the confidentiality of their own environment and devices

Confidentiality and Privacy
Dragonfly Counseling & Wellness uses reasonable safeguards and HIPAA-conscious technologies designed to protect the confidentiality of telehealth communications.
However, no electronic communication system can guarantee absolute security, and clients acknowledge the inherent risks associated with internet-based communications.
Recording Prohibition
Clients may not record telehealth sessions without prior written consent from all participants.

Telehealth services may be limited by licensing laws and regulations. Clients agree to inform their therapist of their physical location at the time of each telehealth session.
Services may not be available in all jurisdictions.
Technology Interruptions
If a telehealth session is interrupted due to technological failure, reasonable efforts will be made to reconnect or continue the session using an alternative communication method when appropriate.
Consent to Telehealth
By participating in telehealth services, clients acknowledge that they understand the potential benefits and risks of telehealth and consent to receive services through electronic communication technologies when deemed clinically appropriate.
