Alicia is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who as been working in the field of mental health for over 6 years. She graduated with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and since then has been striving to provide culturally-sensitive, person-centered, and evidenced based treatment to her clients. She has experience working with diverse populations of individuals and treating clients with a wide range of mental, behavioral, and emotional issues. Her areas of interest include life transitions, anxiety, depression, addictions, stress management, grief work and trauma. She also has a passion for working with people serving actively in the military, veterans, first responders and their family members. Aligning closely with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, she works together with her clients to increase their awareness of the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviors to guide them toward emotional balance and wellness.
